INTERNATIONAL FAIRS UNION (UFI) 
In 1925, the Union des Foires International (International Fairs Union) (UFI) was founded, comprising the major exhibitions and fairs from all over the world. They have been operating on the basis of a common charter since then. One of the main reasons for establishment of this agency was the intention to align holding of international fairs the number of which is steadily growing, greatly outstripping the needs of international commercial exchange.
The supreme body of UFI is the Congress held on an annual basis in different countries, exhibition agencies of which are represented in this Union. The 26th UFI Congress held in Prague in 1997, resolved to admit SJCS AREC to membership in UFI as the arranger of the International Exhibition of Flowers, Plants, Equipment and Materials for Decorative Horticulture and Floriculture "Flowers". The Flowers annual exhibition has met the UFI requirements for ten years already. Admission of the All-Russian Exhibition Center to membership in UFI is a major international success underlining a great potential of the facility.
