 V MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL SALON OF INNOVATIONS AND INVESTMENTS(inventions, investor attractive innovations, high technologies) Moscow, GAO VVC, Pavilion 57 (15-18 February, 2005)
The Salon will be held by: Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Public Institution of the Republican Research and Consulting Center for Expert Examination, Public Joint-Stock Company All-Russian Exhibition Center, Science and Technology Association “Technopol-Moscow”. The following agencies participate in making arrangements for and holding the Salon: Government of Moscow, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Agency for Patents and Trade Marks, Russian Agency for Ordinary Weapons, Russian Agency for Control Systems, Russian Aviation and Space Agency, Russian Shipbuilding Agency, Russian Agency for Munitions, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Government of the Moscow Region, Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Russian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs, Association of Russian Banks, Russian Foundation for Technological Development, Foundation for assistance in development of small-scale enterprises in the field of science and technology, Union of Russia’s innovation and technology centers, other federal and regional authorities, agencies, foundations and institutions. The exhibits will include more than 1500 inventions and innovations. The Salon enjoys the status of an official event of the International association for protection of industrial property. Goals of the Salon to assist inventors, developers and manufacturers of high technology products in presenting inventions and innovative projects in order to promote promising technologies and products on the domestic and international markets, in establishing mutually beneficial business contacts, to attract the attention of potential investors and customers to competitive innovations, to encourage business innovation activities, determine capabilities for effective use of intellectual resources, science and technology, production and staff potential of research institutions and industrial enterprises. The salon of innovations and investments welcomes participation of Russian and foreign research organizations and industrial enterprises, small-scale innovation companies, inventors, sponsors of innovation projects, members of the business community interested in obtaining a mutually beneficial result from marketing competitive research-intensive products and innovative technologies as well as members of financial and consulting structures, whose activities involve participation in financing, implementation and backing of innovative research-intensive projects. Among traditional participants in the Salon you will find public research centers, institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences, colleges, organizations and enterprises of the defense industry sector, small-size innovation business companies, foundations, techno fleets, innovation and technology centers from more than 35 regions of Russia, CIS republics and foreign countries. More than 1700 inventions and innovations are expected be displayed as part of the exposition. Among the Salon participants, there’re going to be representatives of the federal, regional and municipal authorities, World Organization for protection of intellectual property, International association for protection of industrial property as well as delegations from Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Poland, Romania, France, Estonia and a number of CIS countries. The scheduled events and exposition of the Salon share a common task of attracting investments into the area of science and technology and contribute to technological conversion of production, establishment and development of mutually beneficial business contacts between manufacturers and consumers of innovative products, development of the intellectual property market, improvement of patent and license activities as well as consolidating the interests of inventors, developers and manufacturers of high technology products with those of the members of industrial and financial business from various Russian regions, CIS republics and foreign countries. The program for contests held as part of the salon events is prepared with assistance from interested administrative and financial structures and includes the Contest of innovative projects, inventions and innovations, the Contest of trade marks, the Contest of exhibition projects and other events. By decision of the International Jury, the most promising innovations will be awarded with Grand-prix, medals and diplomas of the Salon Organizational committee, decorations and special prizes of the Russian and international organizations.
